Introducing Market Intelligence by HigherGov: Know the Market Before You Bid

October 26, 2026

Today we're launching Market Intelligence by HigherGov, which brings HigherGov's federal market data directly inside Awarded AI. The research behind every bid now lives in the same secure platform where you capture and write.

What's Inside

In May 2026, HigherGov joined Procurement Sciences, helping contractors find and research the right opportunities before Awarded AI helps them capture, write, and respond. Market Intelligence by HigherGov is the first time the two platforms work as one product.

Awarded AI now surfaces:

  • Market Analysis. Trends, shares, categories, maps, and rankings for any keyword and fiscal-year range. Size a market and see who holds it before you commit capture dollars.
  • Awards. Prime, IDV, and sub awards filtered by fiscal year, awarding agency, and NAICS, with incumbents flagged and the period of performance on every award, so you know who has the work and when it comes back around.
  • Awardees. Profiles for 1M+ companies with awards, analysis, and people. Filter for 8(a) expirations or recent winners, and get notified when a competitor or teaming partner wins again.
  • Agencies. See who wins each agency's work and how the share splits, save the agencies you target, and get alerts when they make new awards.
  • Labor Pricing. Ceiling-rate percentiles by role from 450K+ published rates across 25K+ job titles. Published ceiling rates, not billed prices, so you know the range before the price-to-win conversation.

Underneath it all: 65M+ contract and grant awards since 2000 and coverage of 60K+ state, local, and education agencies.

You Can Ask Awarded

You don't have to click through every view. Ask Awarded AI a question, like "Who are the top contractors winning federal AI contracts, and how fast is that market growing?", and it researches obligations, contractor rankings, and awarding agencies with Market Intelligence.

Awarded will then answer with sourced figures: $4.6B in federal AI prime contract obligations from FY2022 to FY2025, plus $2.5B in subcontracts, $7.2B combined.

Research In a FedRAMP Compliant Environment

There's a second gap most teams don't talk about: where market research actually happens.

When competitor analysis and pricing benchmarks live in a commercial tool and proposal work lives in a secure one, someone has to decide what's safe to move between them. Market Intelligence by HigherGov runs inside Awarded AI's  FedRAMP® Authorized environment, so the research sits in the same boundary as the proposal it feeds.

That environment is SOC 2 Type II and CMMC Level 2 assessed, with single-tenant isolation, zero data retention, and no training on customer data. It runs on Azure Government and is compatible with CUI and GCC High requirements.

One Tech Stack, One contract

For growth leaders, the payoff is simpler than any feature: one vendor, one security review, one onboarding, one renewal conversation. Teams paying for a standalone, legacy market intelligence solution alongside a proposal platform can now access everything in a single tool.

Market Intelligence by HigherGov is available in both commercial and FedRAMP environments.

"After a decade as a government contractor, the thing I wanted most was for the research to still be there when it mattered. Market Intelligence by HigherGov keeps the market picture in the same platform as the proposal, so teams bid knowing who they're up against." - Christian Ferreira, Founder & CEO, Procurement Sciences

How to Keep Proposals Current as the FAR Overhaul Continues

The FAR overhaul means the rules governing your bid can change while you write it. The fastest way to keep up is to organize your proposal content so every item traces back to the rule it relies on. Update the rule once, and you know exactly what to re-check. We call this Change at the Source.
