New Integration: Chat with Your Google Drive

We're excited to announce that the Google Drive integration is now available in the Procurement Sciences Platform. This feature lets you connect your Google Drive account and start asking questions about your files directly in the chat. There’s no downloading, uploading, or syncing required.

What This Means for You

Procurement teams often have critical documents like RFPs, contracts, vendor files, and research living in Google Drive. Until now, getting the AI to work with those files meant manually uploading them into the platform. With this integration, that step is gone. You connect once, and the AI reads directly from Google's API whenever you ask it a question.

How It Works

Once connected, you'll see a Google Drive button in the chat's plus menu. Toggle it on and start asking questions.

When you reference a file or folder in your prompt, the AI reads the contents directly from Google and brings them into the conversation. Think of it as having your documents pasted into the chat so that they are available immediately, without any pre-processing.

Key Capabilities

Folder-based chat. Ask the AI to read all files within a specific folder and then chat across all the  materials  at once. This is especially useful when you have a set of documents organized around a specific RFP or project.

Keyword search across your Drive. The AI can search all of your Google Drive files for specific keywords. If you're looking for documents that mention a particular term, vendor, or program name, just ask and it will find them.

Google Drive Labels support. If your organization uses Google Drive Labels (an enterprise feature for tagging and classifying documents), you can search by label. Ask the AI to surface files with a specific label and it will discover and return them.

Flexible drive selection. By default, the integration connects to all drives your Google account has access to, including shared drives. If you'd prefer to limit the AI to a specific drive, you can select it from the Drive Selection option on the integration settings page.
